The Postman (1997).

Strange that I had never heard of this movie at the time, as post-apocalypse is one of the genres I like to watch everything of, no matter how shit. I guess it was eclipsed by Waterworld two years previously. Directed and starring Kevin Kostner, what an egotist. I thought it was good, but too many damn kids in it, I hate kids, reminded me of how they messed up Mad Max 3: Beyond the Thunderdrome, stupid kids again. Is the title some kinda reference to post-apocalypse man or post-man for short? So clever Kostner.

The bottom line

Good, high budget yet B-grade post-apocalypse, Kevin Kostner movie.

Negative Posts

OK, just having a quick perusal here and I seem to have degenerated drastically toward the negative in my last few posts. Just in the process of moving over to (http://mcmonkeys1rants.wordpress.com) today, here's looking towards fresh, bright, spritely, and most of all *positive* posts in this new start ;-)
I am currently learning what it is like to be a wordpress.com user, with the idea that it will make me a better website developer in wordpress.org installations. Next hosting will probably be a self-hosted mcmonkeys1rants.com or something similar.
